Based on its core facility, EDyP has contributed to many scientific projects through the development, implementation and provision of tailored proteomics approaches to characterize specific biological systems in the frame of granted projects. This required a constant optimization of the applied proteomic pipeline, from biochemistry (e.g. fractionation of highly complex samples, enrichment of peptides bearing specific post-translational modifications) and analytical science (optimization of LC gradients and MS acquisition strategies) to data analysis (implementation of dedicated computational and statistical workflows allowing the relative or absolute quantification of proteins).
